There is not reason I should be surprised that Patricia Volk’s new memoir Shocked is so good as she is wonderful writer. The book has received praise and is selling well. Though, I picked it up on whim, drawn to the cover, and the title, Shocked – My Mother, Schiaparelli and Me.
