PRE-ORDER BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HOT PLACE

FRESHMAN MOM GOES TO THE MOVIES

I know it’s been awhile but I told you all I was going to have to go into hibernation to finish my book. I did  - so now I am back. I have had many emails asking when I would start posting again.

I am running out and just want to send a quickie heads up to everyone — Go see THE BIND SIDE.

I am amazed I’m telling you this. I went with much trepidation but Lucy wanted to see it. As a rule Sandra Bullock gets on my last nerve. I don’t like football and have just recovered from baseball season, but this movie is so much more.
It has  a great story, it’s well done and it has a wonderful FRESHMAN MOM moment. I won’t spoil it for you.

But it really has something for everyone, moms and kids will love it and dads will get enough football  to keep them happy.

If you go off alone and see it that’s not so  bad either.

Everyone I have talked to who has seen it has loved it. Larry loved it – the girl I  bought my anit-aging serum from last night loved it as did Lucy and a few of the girls at my gym.

Have  a great weekend!

I will be back with full blogs next week.

I just got home from having seen The Blind Side and I loved it too. What a great story and what a wonderful and generous family…such a testament to the power of love.

When I asked my 14 1/2 year old daughter if she cried during the movie, she said, “No.” I think she’s lying. What should I do? I haven’t seen it, but I know if I saw it I could not stop the tears [I cried during "House Bunny"]. I question whether my daughter is related to me?
