She loved Holly Hunter and I still remember a hat in her bedroom with a tag on it saying "Minnie Pearl" She was so cool,great friend and great roomate.So glad she had David. You sound great! Her mother and my mother are sisters.The highlight of traveling to Nashville growing up was asking if Barnetta was coming in for Thanksgiving or Christmas. When she was in the room everyone was always smiling and laughing. I wish my three children could have known the Barnetta I will never forget. Thank you for writing such sweet memories of her. We heard today that a friend's mom died, she was his only family. Yes, only family, his brother died, his parents were only children. We, his friends are his family.
