There is something oddly amusing (to me at least) in that whenever I travel I take a picture every morning wherever I am and say “Good Morning whatever city” I happen to be in.

LUCKY DUCKS IN MAHINDRA INDO-AMERICAN ARTS COUNCIL FILM FESTIVAL

We are thrilled that Lucky Ducks is going to the MIAAC Film Festival. It is always an exciting festival where last year we saw SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, where we saw WATER for it’s premiere, THE NAMESAKE and many other award winning films.

Tracey Jackson is StoryLink’s March featured screenwriter in honor of Women’s History Month. Jackson’s adaptation of Sophie Kinsella’s Confessions of a Shopaholic was released last month, and she has written more than 15 feature films and 14 television pilots. Her films include The Guru, the first Hollywood/Bollywood crossover film; The Other End of the Line, a trans-global love story to be released on October 31; and the upcoming Ashes to Ashes, which she wrote with Goldie Hawn. Lucky Ducks, completed last November, is Jackson’s first documentary and directorial debut. She is currently working on a book for Harper Collins.

On Thursday, March 12th Tracey will give a lecture for the film department at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the March edition of “Ask a Screenwriter” will feature female scribe Tracey Jackson. Her adaptation of Sophie Kinsella’s Confessions of a Shopaholic (about a college grad who lands a job as a financial journalist in New York City to support her shopping addiction) was released on Feb 13.
